Für das Wacken Open Air (31.Juli-02.August) wurden jetzt Kamelot, die gerade mit ihrem Album “Ghost Opera” für Furore sorgen, bestätigt.
Kamelot (Myspace) ist eine eher untypische amerikanische Melodic Power-Metal-Band mit leicht progressivem Einschlag und orchestralen/klassischen Einflüssen, welche aus Sänger Roy Khan, dem Gitarristen Thomas Youngblood, dem Bassisten Glenn Barry, dem Keyboarder Oliver Palotai und dem Drummer Casey Grillo besteht. Khan stammt aus Norwegen, Oliver Palotai aus Deutschland, die anderen Bandmitglieder sind US-Amerikaner.
