Weil sich Bandleader Marcus Mumford kurzfristig die Hand gebrochen hatte, mussten Hultsfred und Northside auf die Briten verzichten. Für kommendes Wochenende gibt es nun Entwarnung von der Band persönlich: Man hat jede Minute der letzten Woche mit zwei befreundeten Musikern im Proberaum verbracht. Sie werden bei den weiteren Festival inklusive Hurricane, Southside und Rock-A-Field Gitarren- und Drumparts von Marcus Mumford übernehmen. Ziel sei es “so nah wie möglich an das Erlebnis eines normalen Mumford And Sons Gig heranzukommen”.
Für alle Schweden hat man einen speziellen Deal eingefädelt. Wer Mumford And Sons beim Hultsfred verpasst hat, erhält bei Vorlage des Festivaltickets am 28.Juni eine Tageskarte fürs Peace And Love Festival. Dort werden die Briten an eben jenem Tag erwartet.

Hello all – firstly the band are very sorry to have disappointed all fans who attended Hultsfred and Aarhus this weekend, as you know their appearances had to be cancelled due to Marcus breaking his hand. He is currently in a cast, and will be for the next few weeks.
The band have been working every minute they can over this past week with two old tour friends, Harry Cargill on guitar and Chris Maas on drums, to rehearse a set that will be sonically as close as possible to what you expect from a Mumford & Sons gig.
They will be going ahead with all other festivals this Summer and have confirmed that Hultsfred ticket buyers will be able to use the tickets to get into the Peace and Love Festival on 28th June (see www.mumfordandsons.com for details).
