Ärgerlich für alle, die sich beim Rolling Stone Weekender auf Seasick Steve gefreut hatten. Seine Stimmbänder spielen nicht mit, nötigen ihm eine zweiwöchige Zwangspause ab. Davon betroffen sind neben dem Indoor-Wellness-Festival auch alle anderen Deutschland-Konzerte.
Geplant waren Shows in Frankfurt (7.), Köln (9. November), beim Weekender (11.) und in Berlin (12.). Die regulären Konzerte sollen im Januar nachgeholt werden.
Beim Rolling Stone Weekender setzt man als kurzfristigen Ersatz die australischen Newcomer All Mankind. Die haben sich dem Indie-Rock verschrieben und sind gerade dabei ihr erstes Album zu veröffentlichen.

We’re very sorry to have to announce that Seasick Steve is forced to cancel his forthcoming shows in Germany. He is experiencing extreme discomfort with his throat and he has been advised that he must immediately rest his throat (this week and next) as he has sustained damage to his vocal chords. Steve wants to pass on his regrets and apologies for the cancellation – he hasn’t previously cancelled a show in his whole life due to illness – and he was really looking forward to coming back to Germany.Seasick Steve
